Bishnu Maya B.K. serves in the House of Representatives for Nepal Communist Party (UML), selected through proportional representation under the Dalit, Female group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Born in a poor family in Tanahun, Bishnumaya Vick had to face extreme economic deprivation and misery since childhood. She completed her master's degree in sociology, completing her schooling with the help of a scholarship and earning her own expenses by teaching tuition. She started her journey from student politics since 2045 and even after reaching Terathum, she continued to be active in party work and eventually made her way to parliament as a central member of UML.
