Yashodha Kumari serves in the House of Representatives for Nepal Communist Party (UML), selected through proportional representation under the Madheshi, Female group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Yashodha Kumari is the leader recommended by the CPN (UML) for proportional MP in Madhesi women's quota. The secretariat meeting of UML recommended to the Election Commission to put his name in the proportional list for the member of the House of Representatives. He is an MP representing the Madhesi community on behalf of the UML.
