Summary
Bhumika Limbu Subba is a Nepalese politician and House of Representatives member for Nepal Communist Party (UML), selected from the proportional list under the Janajati, Female group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Bhumika Subba's musical, cultural and organizational journey spans four decades. Born in 2027 in Gauradah, Jhapa, she joined the Mechi cultural family from the age of 11 and started her cultural journey with dance. Since 2039, she has been active in the progressive cultural campaign and joined the populist cultural movement. Although initially focused on dance, she later turned to singing and became a strong cultural voice in the Jan Andolan of 2046. She has held the responsibilities of Pragatisheel Artist Manch, Jan Sankultur Manch and the central president of the National Jan Sanskultur Maha Sangh. She also contributed in various roles in Yuva Sangh Nepal, Panchthar-Kathmandu Contact Forum and CPN-UML Province 1 Committee.
