Summary

Kriparam Rana is a Nepalese politician and House of Representatives member for Nepal Communist Party (UML), selected from the proportional list under the Tharu, Male group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Kriparam Rana is a prominent figure representing the Ranatharu community. He was born in an ordinary farming family in Jadepani, Bedkot Municipality-2, Kanchanpur. His father Shalikram Rana and son Dayaram Rana were engaged in Bhalmansa (livestock work) for more than a hundred years. Although education was not easy during his childhood, Rana, who studied with a little income himself, embraced the teaching profession along with agriculture after passing Inter. He taught in Baijnath Mavi for 13 years from 2053 to 2070 and has obtained education up to master's degree.
