She was elected MP from the proportional list of CPN (UML) and was active in politics since her student days. V.No. Yadav, who started her political journey in 2062 by becoming a central member of ANERASWIU, also contested the election of SWIU Vice President of Palhi Multipurpose Campus. Outspoken and fearless, she is a district committee member of UML and is currently holding the responsibilities of district deputy secretary and district in-charge of women's section. Earlier, she also contested in the election of Constituent Assembly member and village vice president.
