Nita Ghatani is a Nepalese politician and House of Representatives member for Nepal Communist Party (UML), selected from the proportional list under the Dalit, Female group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Neeta Ghatani of Jhapa is an emerging youth leader of CPN-UML, who made her mark through student politics. Growing up in a family with communist consciousness, she started organized politics in the year 2067 from the ward committee of UML. She became a member of Birtamod City Committee in 2072 and was elected as a Dalit woman member in the local level elections of 2074 and played the role of people's representative. That experience helped him a lot to understand the society and to mature politically.
