Susma Swranakar (Dimpal) serves in the House of Representatives for Rastriya Swatantra Party, selected through proportional representation under the Dalit, Female group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Susma Swranakar (Dimpal) was born in India and came to Nepal with her family at the age of eight. While her maternal side is Indian, after getting married at the age of 18, she started living in Banke with her husband Chakraman Vishwakarma, a Salyan family. She later came to Kathmandu for her children's education and family. She has been living in Kathmandu since 2058 and has a house in Nepalgunj as well. Sushma, who received education up to secondary level, after raising two children, increased her activity in social campaigns as well as domestic work. Her husband's role as a Dalit rights activist also inspired her and the discrimination and deprivation she experienced in the society inspired her to enter the field of Dalit rights.
