Summary

Smriti Senchuri is a Nepalese politician and House of Representatives member for Rastriya Swatantra Party, selected from the proportional list under the Dalit, Female group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Smriti Century was born on 6th Chaitra 2055 in Lamidanda gavis of Savik (currently Kalinchok Rural Municipality-3, Pokhre). After the death of his mother when he was two years old, his father brought him up in sorrow. She passed her SEE from the local Bhagwati Secondary School, helping her father in grass cutting and farming. Smriti, who came to Kathmandu for higher education is currently studying for her master's degree. In his family, his brother Suresh Century has been working in Saudi Arabia for 18 years and has been providing guardianship by paying for education and other expenses. 27-year-old Smriti had lived a life of poverty and challenges since childhood.
