Surendra Chaudhary is a Nepalese politician and House of Representatives member for Rastriya Swatantra Party, selected from the proportional list under the Tharu, Male group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Surendra Chaudhary is an experienced politician from the Tharu community. He is known as the leading leader of the Tharuhat movement and was earlier associated with the Civil Liberation Party (NAUPA). Lately, he has joined the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RASWPA), where the RASWPA has placed him at number one in the proportional list from the Tharu cluster. Earlier he was a member of Sudurpaschim Pradesh Sabha (from Kailali region) and has been active in Tharu community rights, Tharuhat-Tharuwan issue and inclusive politics. With his entry into the RSVP, he joined the party's broad political adjustment.
