Samina Miya serves in the House of Representatives for Rastriya Swatantra Party, selected through proportional representation under the Muslim, Female group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Samina Miyan is a 37-year-old Muslim woman, born in a simple Muslim family in Chitwan. His parents ran the family by running a small fancy goods business. She completed her secondary education from Balkumari Kanya Madhyamik School. She then studied PCL Nursing from Butwal, Bachelor in Nursing from Bharatpur and MSc Nursing from Rajiv Gandhi University, Bangalore, India. She is married and her husband is a civil engineer. Currently, she is combining both motherhood and political leadership with her one and a half year old daughter.
