Reena Uprety K.C. serves in the House of Representatives for Nepali Congress, selected through proportional representation under the Khas Arya, Female group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Rina Upreti's political journey started from the 2046 public movement. She has been active in Nepali Congress politics for a long time and has recently entered the Federal Parliament through proportional list. Although she is the wife of former minister Bal Bahadur KC, she is an established leader based on her distinct political identity and contribution. Influenced by the ideology of the Congress from a young age, Rina was jailed for her political activities at the age of 19 during the Panchayat period. She has been a Congress delegate continuously since the 11th Congress and is recognized as an experienced woman leader within the party.
