Khadga Shahi represents Mugu-1 in the House of Representatives for Nepali Congress, after winning the seat in Nepal's 2026 general election. Born on August 6, 2024 in Khatyad Rural Municipality of Mugu District, Khadg Shahi is a retired and senior politician of the Nepali Congress. Shahi, who has formal education up to class 12, has been active in politics full-time since the 2046 Jan Andolan. He was arrested during the same movement and spent a week in jail. Due to his friendly and development-loving image at the local level, he is seen as a leader within the Mugu Congress who believes that 'the right person should be in the right place'.
