Dr. Lekhjung Thapa is a Nepalese politician and House of Representatives member for Rastriya Swatantra Party, elected from Rupandehi-3 in Nepal's 2026 general election. Dr. Lekhjang Thapa, a senior neurologist born in Rupandehi and on behalf of the National Independent Party, Rupandehi area no. 3 is a member of the House of Representatives. He is also the director of National Neuro Center and the founding president of Nepal Stroke Association who has acquired high educational qualification like MD and DM. He has made a significant contribution to the treatment of paralysis by introducing thrombolysis therapy for the first time in Nepal's health sector. Currently, he has entered the election field with the goal of bringing radical changes in health policy by combining his long experience in the medical field with politics.
