Summary
Ambika Devi Sangraula is a Nepalese politician and House of Representatives member for Shram Sanskriti Party, selected from the proportional list under the Khas Arya, Female group after Nepal's 2026 general election. Ambikadevi Sangraula, who was born in 2031 in Hedap of Tehrathum, spent her childhood in Jhapa. Having made Dharan her work place for a long time, she was an ordinary entrepreneur and housewife engaged in shoe-shoes and cosmetics business for about 18 years. The turning point in her life came when she joined the 'Shramdan Abhiyan' started by Harak Sampang, the mayor of Dharan. Not much interested in politics, she was impressed by Sampang's working style and respect for labor and turned to social service. In 2080, she became the co-secretary of the 'Swatantra Didi Daini Group' and later the secretary of the 'Shram Sanskriti Didi Dainhi Group' and became a central member of the Shram Sanskriti Party.
